Now that it’s Fall, the weather is getting cooler which means it is time for those seasonal comfort foods. You can expect to see an increase in pumpkin, soups, and upcoming hearty holiday meals. Who doesn’t love the change of season into fall? Pumpkin bars and pumpkin pie are delicious fall desserts. Pumpkin is classified as a squash vegetable and its fleshy shell can be used in cooking. Most popular, it is used in America during Halloween and Thanksgiving and frequently carved as jack-o-lanterns for decoration as well as making the pumpkin flesh into a pie. Pumpkin is a good source of vitamin A and potassium!
